Do The Optima Batteries Fit Into The Factoy Location???????

Just thinking about getting an Optima red top. I just want to know if it will fit into the factory battery place because it looks a little bigger.

I have a Yellow top in the factory location with no problems.

No they don't fit.



They're too small. The battery tie down bar doesn't go down low enough.

Yup.. they fit.. I have an orange top in my car. (same as a red top, but with the posts reversed like the OE Nissna battery.. fits perfect)

The VE still is a pretty cool looking engine. I love the 3rd Gen Maximas. 4th gen, and 5th gen are ok, but otherwise I'd pick 3rd gen Altima to 6th gen Maxima.
