need motor help

need motor help

i have an 89 max with a bad motor and a 96 max that is wrecked. i wanted to know if the swap is possible without spending alot of money on other parts.

if you are very mechanically inclined and can make a lot of your own fabrications it would be a pretty easy swap otherwise it would be pretty difficult and cost a bit.

if i had a wrecked vq max i'd probably try it myself. imagine, we could toss in the vq and the 5 speed, boost it, and easily be able to pull 300 or more hp in a 3rd gen.
