apparently some faults do not activate the 'check engine' light and you have to perform 'screw driver' method on some module under the dash.
Can someone please post how you do this and possibly a reference to what the codes mean.
if the search funtion worked, i could find it but... we all know we cant do that!

check the chiltons online manual thread at the top of this forum. it will have the diagnostic procedures and the trouble codes explained.

 

yes thanks, i know... i wouldnt have the nerve to ask someone else to do my dirty work and post it for me...its just that the chilton site is down, cleaning their library or some $hit like that!

i don't know the procedure nor the codes off the top of my head. hopefully someone here will be of better assistance.
