Discolored Molding

Since i'm on strike and broke I figured i'd take a look at the more inexpensive and easier things to help the appearance of my car. The molding on the door really bothers me... I believe i have heard people just taking it off. I have a few questions:

Is there holes underneath it just like on other cars that i have to worry about?
What do i have to use to make that stuff come off?

No holes underneath.
use a pinstripe removing tool to get the adhesive off.

I have a 3M wax for stains and it took off the yelklowish, light brown discoloration on my white molding on my 3rd gen. If you can find this wax, you should just rub the moldings with it instead of removing them. Cherck my WWW for pics of my clean moldings.

You can also try Mothers "Back to Black". That did a little on the wax stains that are on my window moldings.
