Anybody With Valve Body Mod Info ?? (Any Help Would Be Very Appreciated)

I'm going to get a Stage 2 Second Generation Valve Body Kit from Maximum Tuning but I was just wondering if there are any cons with this being done. I know that it quickens the 1-2 and 2-3 shift for the auto tranny but I don't understand why it would quicken a 1/4 time maybe by .2-.4 seconds. I tried calling Jeff at the shop but he's a busy guy and I couldn't have him explain everything while he's working. I can't use search(oh you mods will be getting a donation very soon) so I can't really find out the true benefits and consequences with this kit. Sorry for asking a super question and yes i know a 5-spd is better .Thanx and stay warm N.E. !

Your car is not accelerating while the tranny is mid shift. If anything, it loses speed. By shortening the shift time, you also shorten 1/4 time.

Thats what I was thinking. Being that it shifts quicker it should get a better 1/4 time because it goes straight into the next shift so your acceleration is a bit better instead of the slight wait you have b4 it shifts into the next gear.
