it was an inside joke, just like jason said, if i have to explain it to you, here goes. joe always relates everything to camaros. hes a camaro nut stuck with a maxima. so it figures tha he would post a picture of a camaro in a maxima forum.

now since you seem to be such a camaro lover (directed at internet), how would you like it if we were on a camaro forum right now and i posted a picture of a mustang( rival of the camaro for decades) and said that it was awesome, faster than a camaro, and its paint was better , etc( out of context, cuz joe didnt say that, but just to drive a point) .DO YOU THINK I WOULD GET FLAMED FOR POSTING A MUSTANG PIC ON A CAMARO FORUM? well this is the same thing. this is maxima.org. we flame on anything non maxima, from hondas to camaros. if you dont like it, tough, i have the right to my opinion. i have the right to pull the engine out of the car and push it to a show if i want to, so long as the paint is awesome and it's 1/2 an inch from the floor ill still get more looks( at a lowrider/import show) than you ever hope to get with your car. but thats not what you care for, so let each be. you have your likes i have mine. i dont think i need to defend my stance on how my car looks or runs with you.

btw, ill be a the first to apoligize to the guy that started this thread, this should'nt have been going on in here and because some people cant keep thir opinions to themselves(myself included) your poll will probably will get locked.

to get to the post, yellow or purple will look good with a kit and rims, otherwise, go with the stock color or blue, just keep in mind any color other than the stock color is gona entail repainting the jambs, which will cost more. i tried to go to you site to see what the car looks like , but the links werent working.

Just so you are clear I was not responding to you in my post that you quoted...I was responding to azmalu because he said his color was similar to mine.

I was just kidding in my earlier post also about not going blue. I think blue is one of the best colors for the 3rd gen...from bright to dark blue and in between.

IMHO, color depends on the entire package, you've got to consider tint and interior

I'm keeping light interior light, repainting the interior panels to match and going with:

1. a dark semi-metallic red body color...
2. or Mercedes light silver

with the stock amber tint

I can't support the primary colors for the Max, sorry.. lol even fly yellow would look bad on the Max. I think even the S4 has a hard time pulling off fly yellow, so our Max just doesn't stand a chance. To me, the Max is more on the luxury side of the performance / luxury scale - no offense.

I say either basic white,black, charcoals for the max, or very dark metallics. I think the "gold" color my max was painted is great, but I'm tired of the combo... there's so many crappy tan on tan cars... drives me crazy...

The coolest car colour i'v seen was camillian purple (changes color from different perspectives) I'v been thinking about getting that done to my Max this summer. It would go nice with the metalic purple dash pieces my wife and I did last week.

I actually like the Midnight Purple on the skylines. In most pictures it's so reflective it appears to be real subtle but in the right light, the purple shines through. I'm not even a fan of purple to begin with but i'd like to have that color.
