I have a '94 GXE auto with 190hp. Mods are: cold air, exhaust, intrax, strut brace, cross drilled rotors, rims, it also came stock with the power switch for power or comfort modes (if that makes a difference). What is the difference between the GXE and SE motors for that year? I thought they were all 190 hp. Any mods suggestions would help to..

Here you go...

3rd gen Maxima BBS

89-94 GXE: 160hp
89-91 SE: 160hp
92-94 SE: 190hp

All autos have the power/comfort button.

One of the best mods: Y-pipe. A very popular one is Cattman's: http://www.cattman.com

Well, one of your statements are incorrect. Either you have a 94 GXE (all 3rd gen. (89-94) GXE have the same SOHC VG30E 160HP/182ft-lbs engine. 92-94 SE models had a DOHC VE30DE 190HP/190ft-lbs engine. So you either have an SE (i.e. no chrome around doors, on grille, white faced gauges w/ speedo that goes to 145 MPH and revs to 6700 RPM for redline) or you have a GXE (with the 160 HP engine and the obligatory chrome and black faced gauges w/ speedo that goes to 125 MPH, etc.)

Hope that helps,

Ryan

why not just bridge the fosgate to run the future 10" sub. I know it will carry the load. Rockford Fosgate is the
S^%T, but thats my opinion-I could be wrong.

Later.

Are you talking to me??

K. Simmons -- are you tlaking about me??

I would prefer to power it seprately, but I know I _could_ bridge it. I'm not oging to do either for right now...I'm just oging to sit on it for a while.

Thanks for the suggestion (I agree about RF).
