The real Y-pipe group deal...
Someone got hold of one of the machinists at MaxRev and thought they had a group deal going, but they should have spoken with the owner. Contrary to this individual's "research" Cattman Performance stainless steel Y-pipes (available for every Maxima made since 1989), are manufactured by MaxRev. MaxRev does do incredible work, that's why I sought them out as a supplier. I've never had a single one of their stainless Y-pipes come back broken. Sure, they're more expensive, but the superior strength and durability of the materials and the TIG welds makes them more than worth the difference.
So, I'll run a group deal on my stainless steel Y-pipes. Except I'll do it myself, the last guy that offered seems to have sort of bombed out. Here are the official instructions.
1. Call my order line (800.795.1513).
2. Tell them you want in on the Stainless Steel Y-pipe group deal and provide the necessary sales information. You must provide a credit card number to make an order, but your card will not be charged unless/until the order is shipped. Provide parts numbers as follows:
89-94 -- YG3/SS
95-98 (all) and 99 (Federal emissions only) -- YG4/SS
99-00 (CA/NLEV emissions only) YG5/CA
2000 (Federal emissions only) -- YG5
3. I will accept group deal orders through my 800 line starting tomorrow and running until October 13. A minimum of 10 pipes must be ordered by that date or all orders will be cancelled. Group deal orders will not be accepted after that date, no exceptions.
4. After the sale support is the same top quality you'd expect when you buy the part retail, but I don't offer a lot of handholding up front for group deal buyers. If you know what you want and are ready to buy it, go after the group deal; if your sales decison requires a lot of interaction with me, buy retail.
5. Group deals usually mean some level of inconvenience in return for a good price. In this case, it will mean waiting longer. All orders will be cancelled if less than 10 are received by the 10/13 deadline. Likewise, orders will not begin shipping until 10 are received. Orders will be shipped in the order received, subject to availability; backorders will be taken and filled quickly if demand temporarily outpaces supply.
6. Price? $400 + $20 shipping w/in continental 48 states. Nicely polished pipes available for an additional $95. Will quote Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico or international air freight orders.
If you've read this far, thanks for your interest.

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I can find a used Maxima for no more than $12k, I can probably squeeze my wallet enough to get in on this y-pipe group deal. Very uncertain at the moment, though.
Anyone got any 97-98 SE 5-spd's with ABS for sale?????

$400 from Brian himself. Who's gonna call em first? Got the cash but that kinda screws the ECU idea. And forget that Xmas list thing coming up...
