Weird Problem

On the way home tonight from work, while taking a slight corner my brake light came on. Now it won't go off. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen and what I need to look for??

Ok, the car has been sitting for about 3 hours, so hopefully thats ok. But the brake fluid level is slightly above the Minimum line. Is this why the emergeny brake light is on?

could be. the master cylinder does have a sensor that tells when the level is low. you might try putting some in there and see if that fixes it.

If not that what happned to me what that the e-brake cables were rusted and they on day stoped working, brakes not engaged but the light was on.

ALso as pointed above, there also is a switch by the e-brake lever that has been known to go bad on a very rare occassion.
