that'd be a question better left for the 5th gen guys but i'm pretty sure all of the 5th gens came with the valved muffler or at least the vq35 5th gens did.

Ah who stickied this? This muffler type was on all 2000 year + maximas.

so all 5th gen maximas have that valve muffler does it make a diffrence

It doesn't really make much of a difference. I don't think it adds the 10-15hp claimed on Ebay
