Just curious if any of you northeasterners are entering the Custom Compact Power Jam at Carlisle this year? Nevin, I hope you enter this year. I'd love to see what you did to that motor of yours. We met last year, but I didn't know who you were at the time. It would be nice to meet more of you in person and see yor rides. We could have a Dot-Org Max alley at the show. Hope to see more of you!

Super Street came to Carlisle for the first time two years ago. It was just kind of a passive visit. Last year they did a full blown wright-up. Now they actively advertise it once they saw how huge it got. My car is in the shop getting tuned up as we speak. I'm taking vacation time for a four-day weekend early in April to get moving on it. The paint is going to be a project to get even close to show worthy. Hopefully I'll get the valve cover polished too.

Currently the show in Carlisle, PA is restricted to Camaros.

There are shows dedicated to Camaros, Vettes, Mopars, etc. all through the season. This show used to be part of the show for imports, kit cars and repli-cars. Now two seperate events because all the rice burners kinda over ran the joint. Now just called the Custom Compact Power Jam. Who else is coming?

It runs May 4, 5 and 6th. The big day is Saturday the 5th. That's when the judging is and the biggest crowds of people and cars. Friday (the first day) is usually pretty sparse due to being a work day for most of us. Usually not as many cars come back for Sunday either. See www.carsatcarlisle.com for details.
