Just installed OEM BMW's.......minor problems

I finally got them closely aligned to the way I wanted to, not perfect but I can do it later....

.....Anyways, Shawn(MrGone) wired them correctly but for some reason when you turn on the high beams, it slowly switches from the low beams to the high beams and when it finally gets to where you think it would be on, it stops leaving it very very dim, almost 2 times dimmer then the low beams and so I am thinking ...*WTF*....

.....To make matters a lil bit worse, once everything is all wired up, the blue icon in the dash that lets you know that the high beams is on. It's on matter if the highs are on or off, it's just always on when you turn the headlights on....
I know when I use to burn out harnesses and I would have the light out from either the burnt out light or the burnt out prongs inside the harness, the high beams light would come on and stay on untill I changed either the bulb of the harness......I'm thinking there is a bad relay, but i'm in the dark on this.....

Help me out guys! Thanks.

my high beam indicator came on once due some of the wires somehow getting stripped and touching some metal on the body. i can't remember if it acted the same or not but you may check the wiring for some crossed wires or something similar. if you can find any bad wires then you might check the relay from there.

You should copy my relay setup. It would work very well in your case. Each of the bulbs would share the power evenly (cause it's relayed) while not overloading your stock wiring to the switch and tiny (5A) stock relay.

Gotta agree with dave.
Relays are the best way to run headlights IMHO
