Starter for manual VE

Starter for manual VE

Hey everyone I need a starter for my manual VE. I found this one on ebay, but it doesnt say if its for a manual or an auto. Could someone look at it and let me know from their expierence what its for? Thanks, Mike

Looks like that one's for the manual tranny, but don't take my word for it. The following web site let's you search by OEM part #:

According to that ebay ad the OEM # is 23300-85E02R. Type that number in and they give you their part number for the starter.
Then, you can cross reference their part number by searching for the starter for a manual tranny Nissan Maxima on the same site. That's how I came up with the starter being for a manual tranny car. BTW, here's another from ebay (used, but very cheap):

The VE m/t and VG both take the same starters.
the VE A/T is the odd man out.
I sell 100% brand new starters.

How much for an alternator for 92 SE 5sp. I was thinking of gettin one from junkyard but if I can get it as a good deal from you, i'm all for it

Alternator
VG New Alternator: N14661 $150
VG Reman Alternator: 14661 $95 + $70 core
VE Reman Alternator: 13477 $145 + 70 core
