short shifter question
short shifter question
will a 95-99 short shifter fit ot cars?? did anyone ever find out if the sentra short shifter will fit i have had a hard time finding one for my 90 reasonable. any input let me know
I think they will. I got a sentra short shifter off ebay for like $4 and thought I might as well try. Well, after taking some measurements, it looks like it should fit perfectly. The only thing is, the STS that I bought looks to be about the same exact size as the stock shifter, so I don't think it will necessarily shorten anything. Though, it does have metal bushings, so it should stiffen things up since stock it has rubber bushings, which usually get worn out. When I searched, it looked like 200sx, sentra, and 4th gen maxima shifters all would work.

a pace setter has to be better then my stock one that was hacksawed down by the previous owner of the car lol......

Here is the link to the stillen website. The title in the page of their STS it clearly shows that the short shifter will fit Maxima's from 89-01. I think if you get the Nismo one for the 95-99 it will work. Good luck and I hope it works.
