When I received my Stillen short throw shifter the instructions and part number were all the same for all Nissan Maxima's from 89-01. So I am going to assume that it should work.

I think they will. I got a sentra short shifter off ebay for like $4 and thought I might as well try. Well, after taking some measurements, it looks like it should fit perfectly. The only thing is, the STS that I bought looks to be about the same exact size as the stock shifter, so I don't think it will necessarily shorten anything. Though, it does have metal bushings, so it should stiffen things up since stock it has rubber bushings, which usually get worn out. When I searched, it looked like 200sx, sentra, and 4th gen maxima shifters all would work.

if you're looking for something cheap the pacesetters are under 70 dollars if i remember correctly. they aren't the best out there but they sure do shorten the throw by a lot.

Here is the link to the stillen website. The title in the page of their STS it clearly shows that the short shifter will fit Maxima's from 89-01. I think if you get the Nismo one for the 95-99 it will work. Good luck and I hope it works.
