Sprint Springs & ST Shocks???????

I am just wondering if anyone has this setup and if so do you recomend them. I found this set for a reasonable price and i am considering buying them. But i am also skeptical on their performace. Should i just save up more and get the Eiabach & Tokico setup, or is are the sprint and St's worth my investment?

I haven't run these personally, but I'd guess that the extreme drop you get with the Sprint springs + the "soft" damping characteristic of the ST struts = blown struts after 20k miles.

I was stuck with this decision last week and decided to do the Eibach & Kyb combo. I got mine for $436 brand new, which if you are looking at the Sprint & St combo on ebay, after shipping you pay about the same. The Eibach is less of a drop, but with the Sprint springs you will most likely need more funds for camber bolts. My .02

my experience with sprints was ok i have them on my 89 se but the are kinda soft and it rides like crap the drop was nice but they arent real good quality IMO. i am gonna wait and get some nice intrax or eibachs with kyb's for my 90 se 5 speed i dont recommend sprint springs they arent stiff enough and dont take bumps to well. they were ok due to the fact i had never lowerd a car and it was my first time bt now after driving and knowing im gonna save some more and get higher quality for a better ride. oh yeah and when sprint says 2 inch drop they mean 4 my car had 5 inch wheel gap with 40 series tires and those springs took it all away.....but it also took the ride away......

thanks everyone for your advice, i think i am just going to wait and save up my money and get some good quality struts and springs. Makes sense though you get what you pay for and if im going to fork up around 3oo something bucks for this setup just to be dissappointed i am goin to be ****ed. I much rather save up the extra hundred or so and get something that i'll like and will have a great ride. I appreciate all of your help and for probably saving me alot of trouble
