Removing the rear deck?

Removing the rear deck?

Anyone had experience doing this? I've folded down the back seat and it doesn't really look like anything is holding it on beyond the heater grill things. I can't figure out how you get the heater grill things off, though. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yeah i tries to remove mine once, yeah its like metal and after an hour i said fudge it, im pretty sure its solid metal that wont remove, but i could be wrong. I have tried a few times with no luck

pop your bak seat out then go in your trunk look under the lip and push the green clip ends up then go in the car and pull up and the reack deck will come out along with the speaker grills ive done mine a ton of times and i have even swapped it out for a newer one so im sure it is easy and will coem out
