I'm in need of a new alternator. I have a medium-high end audio system a little over 1000w. I've also been racing at the tracks and I think that racing, old age, and the audio system finished my alternator. should I upgrade to higher ouput alt or just replace it with same.

If upgrade, what alt do you guys recommend? and would it do any harm or good if I upgrade, besides getting more juice.
