i see this pic around of various website, and i would like ot know if the wheels on this max , are form a ford mustang? thanks fellow maxima owners....ENJOY THA RYDE!!!

 

Yeah those are SVT cobra rims.... 17 x 8 I believe... Mustang wheels will fit our cars (except the cobra 'r' rims; they are too wide), but the offset is slightly different making the wheel stick out more. Evidently they don't rub on the fender but contribute to a nice smooth flush look.

 

they will fit? off of what years of mustangs? ive seen some nice rims on mustangs. is there bolt pattern the same?

 

Some of the wheels that fit on a Mustang will fit our cars.. yes, the bolt pattern is the same, but the Mustang can accept much wider wheels and different offsets than us.
only the 17x8 rims will fit- anything wider will rub something, somewhere on our cars.

 

The Mustang rims are tight, but dont they have the little
Emblem on it?

i think they do have the ford emblem on the center piece but i believe the emblems can be removed.... i definatelt like the way they look on the max.. also it looks like the suspension is a bit lower, i could be wrong, but would sure like to know if that max has after market suspension parts.... and aslo i think the year mustang wheels are 99 or 2000 modles.. i could be wrong though.....

 

only the 94-2000 rims will fit. And some of the earlier 60's to early 80's. The 85-93 have 4 lug rims.
