Power loss below 3500, not throwing knock code

My car doesnt have any power below 3500 rpms, and it isnt my knock sensor, cause I just put a new one in, and it isnt throwing a code, or any code for that matter. My VTC's are grounded. Sometimes for maybe a minute, my car gets all the power back, and its a huge difference. The acceleration is the same from 25%-100% throttle. I think that something is pulling my timing back and dumping fuel, but I really dont think its my knock sensor. Even before I put the new knock sensor in, i tried the resistor trick, and it didnt change a damn thing.

Its pretty advanced right now (dont have a timing light), just as much as MadMax024, but changing it doesnt do much.

Its not any of those. All resistances check out. I have swapped MAFS before anyway.

How about the temperature sensor? the terminals usually corrode pretty badly!

Terminals have been cleaned, resistance checks out (at several temps), and I am not throwing any codes.

When you set your timing did you unplug the TPS and rev the engine 3 times to lock in timing mode? Also I'd suggest checking the TPS voltage to make sure its in spec.

My max NEVER threw a code, but there's always something wrong

Just goes to show you, the sensor/device has to TOTALLY fail to throw a code.

The o2 doesn't throw codes.

Never even heard of that procedure. Is that in the fsm?

Yes, to set the base timming, let the engine come up to full operating temp, unplug the tps, rev the engine a few times, check/set the timming.

If the engine has trouble idling with with tps unplugged, then you probably have another problem.

Well like he said his problem was identical, just tighten your nuts.
