I might not get the hood but I know I'll get the kit if it's HOT!!! I'll only get the hood if it isn't stock or too ricey. Add some air dams or something to it. Just thinking that $500 for a skyline kit. Just had a thought... it would be nice if they could do some skyline tail lights for us to go wit dat kit.

I know what you mean. I want all of that too. I would get the hood and kit but I am going to college in a few and I'll go kit over hood for the moment.

Ok... today's the 20th - any pics at ALL?

I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade (especially since I'd be down for the hood, and possibly fenders), but I hope you understand where I'm coming from when I say this and NOT get all crabby on us.

I've been on the .org since just around the beginning, and there have been a TON of people - old schoolers as well as newbies - come down the line with word on products for 3rd gens. Then we, as 'innocent' bystanders, get all hyped up with the whole "Im in" stuff only to get let down HARD!

And while I can't speak for everyone, it gets old!

While I applaud your tenacity and thoughtfulness in making this deal happen, you'd probably get a bit more 'love' if you tossed us a bone in the form of something more concrete so we can say, "hey, this guy's serious!" and not blowing smoke up our @$$es.

Hope I'm not coming across too harshly... but that's just MY $0.02 worth.

Yeah I agree. There were many threads like this trying to get skyline bodykits but they all fell through. But I hope as much as the next guy that this deal gets done, especially the carbon fiber hoods.

Ya know what screw it all. I'm just gonna buy the stillen kit and hopefully get a CF hood this summer. I think this was a joke and since he hasn't updated us on anything then f it. Even if there's pics I wouldn't be interested due to the fact that things might turn into a littlepiggie. No type of communication.

you guys need to take initiative and stop saying "someone should step up..." YOU step up!!

-decide on a style kit you and the other buyers want, then....

1. contact bodykits.org
2. get 8-10 SERIOUS PAYING buyers(~$700-800 each)
3. make sure you have a donar car in the socal area
-production time takes a 1.5 months I think
-BAM...theres your custom 3rd gen kit...simple...well not really seeing as how no one EVER puts money up on here when these deals pop up(barring if you aren't in the financial situation to do it of course, thats understandable)

time to stop complaining and start doing (how many times have you heard that on this forum ) but no one listens

Yep, I'm a witness. But you did come away with a really good looking prototype.

Ugh, this is what happens when I leave a post like this open. Guy doesn't say crap forever.

Funk this. If he's legit, he can post pics in a new thread. This damned thread is done.
