headlights

I need to buy new headlights, some immature piece of monkey **** can't respect what spmeone has worked hard to get, and was wondering if it would be better to get oem or some type of aftermarket equipment? You can only get headlights from a dealer so that is going to be about 100 each.

Brian is right. Since you HAVE to change them, just go ahead and do the E36 swap. I'm waiting for something to happen to mine to get off my lazy *** and do it myself!

You can either go Junkyard hunting or drop by the BMW dealer and get them. NOt exactly sure how much they'll charge you since I live in NY and everything is more expensive here .

I was in the same boat. On my way down to see my girlfriend at Oregon State, I rock cracked my headlight lenses which slowly lost pieces over time till it was almost nothing. So then I did the e36 swap. I went to the beamer forums (http://www.bimmerforums.com) and found some guy that lived around me that was selling his for about $50. I'm not sure but I think they are 92-98 on the years of them....Not quite sure though....
