I don't have the link anymore to the E36 writeup, but I did see a link on that page, where you can pic up the E36 lights also. Can't remember the price, but it wasn't bad for brand new.

click the WWW in the bottom of my post (or my maxima page) in my sig. I have a link to the write up on my FAQs page.

as to where to get them. Dont pay over $100 for US domestic lights (actually you should pay less than that). You can get the projectors for a little more (well maybe a couple hundred more cant remember) but they install differently because they are bigger and you will not use the factory maxima bracket.

Your saying that these Projector E36 Halo's won't use the factory bracket because they are bigger. Do you know anyone who has installed them because I was going to do this mod instead of the regular E36 Headlights. I love the Halo effect. What type of work would you think I would have to do in order to make this work?

No I am talking about the factory e36 projectors. Those are some aftermarket ones someone made. They really dont even look like E36 lights much (the black housing goes all the way to the lens, the lights are perfectly round etc.).

I know of no one who has done a swap with those but a few on here have done the swap with the factory e36 projectors.

I've never seen these before... If they are anything like the size of euro projectors, there is a substantial amount of cutting and figuring out how to mount them.

Not sure but they look like they may be smaller than the euro projectors.

I am pretty sure they used the Hella projectors and highs to make those. I have had similar interest in making something similar but being a direct replacement (using stock maxima housings) but alas its one of way to many thoughts I have running through my head I have no money to try.

Here are some picture of the Hella Modules I am talking about...

I am not 100% sure thats what they used (didnt read the description of the auction to be honest) but it looks like they used them and added halos to them...I may be wrong though.

I am not Seyath but that grill if factory 92-94 GXE...the SE looks like that too (92-94) but is body colored. It is a direct swap for the 89-91s so find a junk yard...buy one and snap it on...then youre good to go.

I have the European spec E36 headlights with halos and they look way better than the ones on that page. The size of the halos on those look morel like the ones that come on the Honduhs cuz they are so small. If you look at any BMW with halos they arent complete full cirlcles and they are bigger in diameter. Yes it requires more cuttin and there is no way you are going to use the factory bracket and you are going to also have to find another way to mount the grill since only the center mount for it isn't on the headlight bracket.

Hey brad92, I want to know how you made the customized brackets for those lenses and how you created mounts that attach to the grill being that the original oem brackets join onto the grill....So this is something i gotta see for real. what would i need and what kind of materials are needed to do this mod.
