Polishing..Need help

Polishing..Need help

I want to start polishing parts like calipers, intakes, wheels, ect. I wanted to know if anyone had any write ups or information on it. Any help would be grateful

1. get bored
2. grab lots and lots of sand paper
3. blocks and such help out a bunch
4. some kind of sealant (still trying to find one myself)
5. steel wool is helpful too
6. power tools are handy
7. more boredom

I was going to polish my intake manifold, then I had it off the car and said screw this, lol.

So I pretty much just sand the **** out of it starting w/ a low grit sandpaper to scote pad and work up to higher grit and that will give it the polished look? Then I use a clear coat to keep it like that???

You know that the stock calipers are steel right? Might take a couple years to sand those down.
