Mustang Rims

Hi, I recently came into a set of 2001 mustang stock rims and on 4dsc.com it says that all 94-2001 stock mustang rims are compadible but mine at 15x7 and I placed one up to my wheel and its the same exact height but I think other mustang rims are 17x8 is this going to cause any problems with my car? I need the new tires because the tread on mine are almost completley bald and the mustang wheels are almost new. responses apreicated.

if you placed a 17" inch rim against a 15" with tire then of course they will be the same height....put some tires on the stnag wheels and bolt em up then see how big they are

I didn't say I put a 17 rim against mine with tire, my post said I have a set of 15x7 mustang rims and I have tires on them and put it up to the tire and it was the same size but thanks for the response.

Update: Yesterday I got to autozone to get some caliper paint because why not and as I'm ringing it up one guy says to the other one there, "hey is that a maxima with mustang rims?" and I go, "yeah, thats my car..." and then he goes, "haha, I hate both companys." I just wanted to vent that here, It ****ed me off a good deal especially because I didn't even think to ask. "well what do you drive?" theres always next time.

you should post pics of your car with the stang wheels. I am curious to see what they look like. I would think that those wheels aren't the best looking on a Max, but if you are low on $ and they have good tread, do what you need to.

There are a few guys with Cobra wheels on their Max and they look sweet, IMO.

That guy probably drives a Civic or an Accord and unless he has a turbo, engine swap or NOS, he probably couldn't touch your Max (if that makes you feel any better).

Thanks, it does a little bit, I'll try to get pictures as soon as I can get my hands on a digital camera, the rims I like better than stock...they were free...I wouldn't pay for em...If I were to pay for a rim it would have to be Roh's. I love those rims.

Wow, why would you put wheels on that are the same size? They're also much uglier, painted aluminum. What's up with the rice paint for your brakes?
Sorry i'm done venting because my car is a rusted out piece of cr@p.

I think he mentioned that he got them for free and the tires were in a lot better shape than his stock ones.

I don't think he mentioned what color he painted his calipers. If he painted them black or charcoal or something, that's not ricey, IMO.

Not only that, he has a VE, so he owns you (just kidding).
