dimmer switch wires

I hate to keep spamming this site with these questions, but I guess that's what it is for. I hooked up the fuel pressure gauge, but instead of hooking the wire for the gauge light to the headlight switch, I would like to hook it to the dimmer switch wire so that I can dim it. It's the autometer C2 series and is VERY bright. I just need to know which wire to tap into because there is like 5 of them on the back of the switch itself. I know which one is power, but I need to know which one is used to dim the headlights and such. I've looked on Blehm's link with the wiring info but the dimmer switch wires aren't addressed there.

the dimmer wire just gives a 12v signal when your lights are on. Its the source unit that uses that and infers to what to do with it.
