BlehmCo Lower Tie Bar
Just finished installing it a few hours ago and its awesome!
First I'll start out with the Install...
I thought it was just going to bolt right on, I forgot about this part on Matt's page:
So I broke out the die grinder and opened it up abit, you really dont have to take off much at all so it went rather quickly. Then I went to put it on but had to widen the bolt holes on the front of the bar just alittle bit, it was probably my car. I just did it so I wouldn't have to force the bar into place and risk damaging the threads on the car.
After that it all went smoothly, everything bolted up fine. I did have to push up on the bar with my jack to get the socket in the hole, but thats because I widened the hole. It was probably just my car, which doesn't surprise me.
I went for a drive and the car feels more stable, much more stable. It's kind of hard to explain, but its like before I would take a corner and I would be pushed against the door panel, but now I take the same corner and its almost as if I'm going straight.
Now for my mods:
Eibach Springs
Tokico Struts
Suspension Techniques RSB
BlehmCo RSTB
Otto FSTB
I think if I were to compare it to anything it would be like the FSTB, but better . The best I can describe it is now I can take a 15mph turn at 35 and it feels like I'm taking it at 15-20, where as before 25mph would feel well, like 25mph.
Now I just need to get new bushings, a FSB and sub frames and I'll be happy well and I need some wheels and tires and an allignment hehehehe.

This requires a small amount of grinding on the left side gusset to fit, but does not alter or weaken the structure of the car at all- you simply have to enlarge one hole for one of the additional mounting points.

That might be a mod I would do WAY down the road. It sounds like it really helped though. This is kind of off the subject, but did you notice much of a difference when you ported the intake manifold? Was it worth the trouble?

It felt alittle free'er (lol) but really not worth it. I didn't take out as much as Aaron did. I do have an idea that I'm going to try with my spare auto one. It was funny when I first put my car back together it was like 20* outside and my car would break traction way to easily, lol. Then it warmed up a few days later (60*F or so) and my traction came back.
As for the bar, I recommend Ricer Red, that way you can easily see it when you look under the car, ohhhhh ahhhhhhh
Also for clearance, it hasn't scraped on anything, I dont think it is going to. It clears the cross member with ease, and theres even more room for the y-pipe.
I really need new tires

The picture in my sig is my car with Durango wheels with 31x10.50r15 BFG All-terrians(with 66k on them) next to it I was rotating the tires on our Durango and decided to have alittle fun.
The bar is $125 + shipping from Matt IIRC. You can get stage 1 for $50 + shipping.
I'll try to get the digi cam from my Dad tonight
