I have a question about your seats.

First of all, where did you get them?
Secondly, do the seats bolt right in?
Are they comfortable?
Price?

Thanks. BTW: The car is looking great.

Well I got the seats at a place on the net. www.sportscar-parts.com . You can buy brackets for them that will directly bolt to the existing brackets. These run at about $75 each. I try to customize my car on a budget so I just welded my own brackets out of the existing stock brackets. All in all it was free and I still have a racing seat that slides. It was pretty complicated though. I myself think they are pretty comfortable. I chose the full out race bucket that doesnt recline. It has great lateral support though. As far as price they were the cheapest I could find that were what I want. They only cost me $220 a piece shipped to my door. I think as far as appearance and performance they are deffinitely worth it. The only problem is that the racing harnesses are another $100 a piece. If you want the Max to look sporty I would go with the seats, but I know that a lot of guys on here arent as race oriented with thier max's as I am. Its just preference I guess.

I like the Carrera seats personally. They recline which is a feature I will require. I will also want full sliding functionality. So with the mounting brackets you buy they won't still slide? I'd have to have them welded to the stock lower brackets?

Thanks for the help.

Chris, is the liscense plate MD or OK? it looks a lot like my oklahoma plates, but your profile says MD... just curious..

Hmm... if those seats came in OEM colors, I might have done that instead of my 300ZX seats. support and comfort is great, but it's gonna cost me $$4 to reupholster them in matching colors. (I'm going for something a little closer to stock than you are.

I can understand that you might want something that looks a little more like stock. I kinda want the more show look as you can tell. As far as the seat brackets go, you can buy the ones that slide and the ones that dont. I think the ones that slide are over $100. You'd have to check that out. My max is basically just a project car so I'm not to worried about the comfort. I'm hoping that I'll be able to make it strictly for street racing when I get my next car. Dont let the yellow seats fool you. No rice boy here.
