DAMNIT, studder = new problem

Well, after putting the whole damn top end back together (changed KS, KS harness, all 6 injectors, ect ect ect.) I have a new problem. Seams that the fuel injectors didnt seal up or are stuck wide open. I was blowing a ton of smoke out the tailpipe after I took it for a test drive to see if my studer was gone (it was for a day, figured I would test it again) and I pulled the plugs. The rear 2 left and right most plugs were wet, cranked it over with the cam sensor unplugged and fuel mist just spewed out of those two cyls! DAMNIT, I gotta go back down in there and check for unseated O-rings! Anyone know a "proper" way of seating these damn things? I hate this style of injector, what PIA!

Oh, and it was having SUPER hard time starting too after the install for some reason, I am assuming the O-rings started to heat up and get messed up or something leaking too much fuel into the cyls causing too rich to start condition.

ARG!

That REEEEEEEEEEELLY should be REEEEEEEEEEEAAALLY

Sucks though, I've learned to hate putting on/taking off the upper intake

Definitely sounds like some pinched O rings letting the fuel just dump in there. I just replaced mine about 3 weeks ago and made the same mistake. I pulled the whole fuel rail back out and I could see the bad ones dripping fuel down as soon as I put the key in the on position. I did not even have to turn the CPS to test them. Ordered all new O rings and did it again and lubed it up really good with some engine oil. Just slowly twist them back and forth as you put pressure down on them. Good luck.

When you took your spark plugs out and cranked the motor over, did fuel squirt out like ol' faithfull too? :-)

Wierd thing is, it was running before, must have cracked or something after a few runs.

Yes. Old faithful in the two that were low on the power balance test. Turned out those 2 were the ones pinched the worst. I just replaced them all. I also greased the fuel rail were the injector went into when I put them back in. Good luck.
