92-94 SE's have a timing chain. If you have a 92-94 GXE, then you have a belt. I believe both engines are interference engines, if that's what "zero clearance" refers to (I've never heard that term before).

Timing belt broke on a zero clearance engine? Your screwed. I think that means that rods and stuff are bent and that kind of thing, it's going to cost more to repair the motor than jut paying for the timing belt. Sorry man. BTW-did it break on your 94 SE? It seems like it would be rare for a chain to break.

on these engines you'll bend a valve before you bend a rod.

In any instance, its probably just alot cheaper to simply replace the engine than to bother rebuilding it.

As mentioned, if you have a belt you have a 94 GXE and not a 94 SE. All 92-94 SE's came with a timing chain. Where in West Palm are you located, I'm in the Wellington area. If you need a hand with this engine (or any other engine) let me know. I may have or know things you might need.
