removing headunit

removing headunit

seems my headunit is actin a bit crazy, so i'd like to get in there and check it out...

anyone have a quick lil writeup for how to get the headunit out...takin console apart etc..

Very helpful your site was craig.. just got a lil dilemma now...

i took out my newer headunit (which has 6 inputs (2 front, 2 rear, 2 sub)... but now the older headunit im putting in only has 2 inputs, was wonderin if theres a way to do this so i can have all 4 speakers and 2 subs running all at once?

Y-connectors for the RCAs... I believe you'll lose either front-back or side-side fading ability, depending on how you wire it up, but that's not usually too big of a deal...
