Speedo Gauges

I know that this topic has been killed on the .org, but I'm just making sure. If I buy the 145mph glow gauges and install them on my GXE, will they work properly? Thanks in advance.

No they will not. Unless your speedo goes to 145 then you'll be able to do it because the guages are overlays. With GXE's you need the 125 mph glow guages.

I agree with these guys. You can put 145 MPH gauges from an SE in and it work right (which is probably what has you confused) but you cant just put a 145MPH overlay on a 125 MPH gauge cluster because the spacing is different.

if u want the 145mph gauges just go to a junkyard and get the cluster out of a '92-'94 SE and just install the 145mph glow gauges over them. if not then ur stuck with the 125mph glow gauges.

If you want the 145mph on yours you can get a 92-94se one and unscrew the spedo and back section and put it into yours so that you retain the actual mileage on the unit...

there is a how to 3/4 of the way down on this page http://www.nissanx.com/f0rums/thread...d=37&styleid=2

Hope it goes well for ya!

Brian
