VTC question for Mr.Gone..........
i already asked this question to red92maxse; and he told me that you might be able to give me a bit more detailed info. on grounding the VTC's. I've heard that you put a toggle switch between your ground and the VTC solenoid ( i was thinking of doing the same thing); anyhow; i was wondering if when you toggle the VTC switch, do you have to shut the car off or can you activate/deactivate the switch while the car is running?

exactly right. I would sit there with the grounding wire on mine and take it loose and put it back on just to see the idle differences.
sorry, lol slept in abit then was out and about.
I tapped the wire right about 6" from the ECU, just because that was the easiest way to do it for the switch.
If you do end up putting them on a switch you will need to tap the wire coming off the ECU going to the solenoid, run a wire from there to the switch, then run a wire from the switch to a ground.
