I have been at this all day. I wanted to do some stuff and run just one wire thru the firewall from the engine bay to the dash. Does anyone know how I can do this. I was thinking drilling but I would like to avoid that. Thanks!

There was a thread on that recently. Look down a few pages and you should see it. IIRC, there is a grommet somewhere in the drivers side wheel well behind the splash guard. But find the thread to be sure.

Just go up under by the steering wheel and push it along side where the harness goes through.

There's a grommet in the side fenderwall. If you open your driver's door and look into the side fender open by the front of the door you'll see the little grommet. Take off the splash guards and run your wire through there to that grommet. Pull it out and the hole appears right near your leg by the opening in the compartment near the hood latch. It's gonna be closer to the speaker grille. Just reach in the opening and you should feel the wire. I ran a 16 gauge to my center console and installed switches to run interior neons and a underbody kit. Good luck on it because it's a bit of a pain.

This may be obvious.... but.... drill a hole..... thats what i did. The factory hole was not large enough for any sizable wire anyway.

Thanks guys, I could not have done it without you. It was easier than i thought. The only pain was those little plastic push in screws that break when you take them off. I went to nissan and bought more but were 1.40 each!!!!! Since I go there so much they gave me 4 for $4.50
