I have never removed them off a max hood but i removed them off another hood a while ago and i think there was clips under the hood that needed to be pryed off. if its not working try sticking a sewing needle in the holes to unclog them. if its not that then try checking you fluid lines for dirt that might have clogged it.

I just removed mine not too long ago, and what you'll need are some needle-nosed pliers. The reason is that the nozzles kinda snap in and you need to depress two plastic pieces along each side of the nozzle in order to remove it. Believe me, it's really simple, but you've gotta be careful not to squeeze too hard and possibly damage the nozzle itself. Cool?? Cool!
