tach wire.. hooking up alarm

theres 4 black/green/silver wires... and my meter dosent read ac and the alarm book tells me to set it to Ac volts

go to craigs site and click on how to. In there it will tell you where the tach wire is and what color it is in the wiring stuff...its in the wire color codes for keyless entry, remote starter, etc write up.
