Ignitor specs
Ignitor specs
I've got a 92 Maxima SE and just tested the ignitors, as in the manual. The manual states that the resistance between connectors 1 and 2 should be 0.8 ohms (no tolerance). I tested the ignitors and most were on 0.8 ohms, but two were 0.5 ohms. I was thinking that a large amount of resistance would be a problem, but would low resistance be a problem? Perhaps indicating a short?
Any ideas? This probably was answered somewhat back in the past, but without search capability its impossible to find.

The coil packs are .8 ohms
Injectors are between 10-14 ohms
Got this from MrGone earlier, but I couldn't find the post.
Look the front ones over for cracks. My car idled like crap when I first got it and one of my fronts was cracked bad. I replaced it and it idled better but I still had a stalling problem. Then, I replaced all three rear coil packs and it hasn't stalled since. I don't have a way to test mine, so I don't know what mine are.
