Go to Craigs site like xnyc said and click on how to. He gave very good instructions and also the parts needed for the swap.

Good luck if you decide to do it and give feedback to Craig if you do. So far I dont think anyone has done it besides us (and he came over and helped with mine so I didnt use the write up) and I think he is anxious to see how his directions work out.

There's a girl at my school with a maroon GXE with digital dash and ACC and sport suspension and all...she might be selling her car. Should I try to get it cheap and maybe attempt the swap...I'd only do it if I had full support from my .org members!

it's a lot of work and I dont think it'd be worth buying a car for, but it's your money

read over the how-to many times and then decide if you're up for it. It's a ton of wiring and little things here adn there, but it's not all that difficult (I've done it twice though so it's easier for me)

I honestly wouldn't mess with anything to do with airbags. That's not something you want to fail. So I'd just leave your current one in. You can get nice covers (www.wheelskins.com is what I have) if it's starting to tear or something.

If you can find all the parts, I'd be up for it. Look at the webpage and make sure you get all the brackets and screws and stuff that I mentioned on there. I got all the aux. pieces (not the main unit) for about $50 from a local yard. I dont know about charges, I'd have to think about that though - it'd be small though. I keep an eye on the junkyards in my area and haven't seen anything since the car I got all the stuff out of. I have about 5 other people begging me for parts so I'm keeping up my VIP status at the junkyard.
