Brake fluid Leaking!

Brake fluid Leaking!

hey people... a few days ago my brake light went on... so i cheakced my brake fluid level and it was low.. so i put some in and the light went back on so i cheacked under the hood and it was very low agian.. so thiers a leak...somewhere... has anyone had this prob... does anyone know how much it would cost to fix it? thanks

probably your master cylinder, most people just get a new one from a junkyard, id just check the tubing coming right out of the master cylinder and look for any obvious cracks/leaks.

Dude, you mean most people get an old one from a junkyard

Seriously, if you suspect the master cylinder, get a rebuild kit or get it rebuilt - only get a second hand unit if you need to stay mobile whilst the old one is getting rebuilt. Is really dangerous fitting second hand master cylinders & wheel cylinders unless you rebuild them first - any good shop mechanic will tell you that.
