Hey everyone, great board here. Unfortunately, I don't have the time to go through each thread, so I'm asking for help in a new one.

I have a 93 GXE, and the seat belt warning light in the dash is on almost all the time, and the accompanying chime plays a lot. Both of the auto seatbelts are secured. Any ideas where I should look to resolve this?

 

Mine comes on every once in a while, I usually just punch in the passenger side hooking thing and it goes away, I think the sensor is going.

 

I'd look at the dealer. My '94 owners manual/warranty manual states that in regular use (not abused or wrecked) cases the seatbelts have a free life time warranty for parts and labor. The seatbelts have numerous wires, sensors, motors. Let the dealer deal with this headache. I assume the other years 89-93 have a similiar warranty. But call the dealer first.
