WSP Y problems

Has anyone ever received a y-pipe from warpspeed that didnt fit properly? I went to install it today and the front flange didnt line up correctly. I emailed Dallas at WSP and described the situation. I was just curious as to if anyone has had problems and if so how did WSP handle the it. Thanks.

how did it not line up properly? I thought I had one too myself, but then I figured out I just wasn't holding my tongue right when I put it on. I had the back end off just a hair and the front wouldn't line up because of it. I unbolted the cat so the back end was loose, then the front flanges bolted right on.

yeah i had a problem like that.. the front was off by a hair.. but like matt said, "loosen up the rear" and use a bar as a leaver to pull it foward..

first, make sure it doesn't fit

then call them up. They're really nice guys and I'm sure they'll help you out.

If you don't put it up to both flanges exactly parallel, it will apear like it doesn't fit. When you put it on, you might have to wiggle it around to get to fit. Make sure you get both flanges up past the header downpipe bolts before tightening anything.

Just giving an update. I got an email from Dallas today and he basically told me to call him tomorrow. I plan on calling him tomorrow and seeing what he wants to do.
