transmission help please

Hello, everybody. I'm the new member of the forum. I have about 3 maxima in my house. All of them are 3rd gen. I just found the forum a few days ago.

Well, for a start, can someone help me out on the auto transmission of my max?

The problem: my trans. started to have this problem a few months ago. The gears seem to shift "too soon" and as the result, the gears didn't shift smoothly. Whenever I hit the gas pedal in a hurry, the gears shift from 1st to 2nd and to 3rd and 4th very soon and because of the "soon shifting" the transmission isn't shift at all. I have to release the gas to so that the gears can shift, if not the car just keep jumping and jumping without shifting. Especially, when it's cold outside, the problem got worse. Is there anything that I can do to check it? like some electrical connectors? Some tech. website, manual?

Thanks
sorry for the long post.
