i just went through that process couple days ago ...i didnt have a drill so i had to find another way...i read to go through wheelwell and hood cable....take off the cover under wheelwell and find hood cable and put your wire through there ,you have to remove the gromet for hood cable as well for wire to fit

Yup.. as he said..

to make it a little more clear, remove the LEFT side fender well. jacking up the car or removing the wheel makes this much easier, but it's still not difficult.
once you get there, you'll see exactly what needs to be done.

or you could do it the right way and go threw the factory rubber seal with a drill and run it threw there, its on the drivers side, just pull back the carpet a little bit to get your drill in beter, it took me all of 1 1/2 minutes

It's way up under the dash if you're looking at it from inside the car..

if you're looking at it from inside the wheel well, it's pretty obvious.
here's a pic..

thanks matt- i'll have to look into that as opposed to having a stereo shop charge me $40 each for two amps to be installed. any idea if that will accomodate a 4-awg wire?

my clarion cd deck is having problems, i hate best buy...

while i'm here - anyone have a spare set of mirrors to sell?

See that "clean" black wire running through there?

that's a piece of 2awg wire with 2 split-loom tubing over it. if that can fit in there, you'll have no problems with some 4 awg.

I think someone was selling a Crimestopper in the 'for sale' forum. I'm not sure, though.

I know drilling is bad, but I drilled a hole right next to the throttle cable and the brake master cylinder on the
firewall. I guess I just have a little too much fun with the stuff...

I also drilled near the brake cylinder. 8" to the drivers side of it, same height as its center. Nice and clear on both sides. Popped in a grommet and ran the cable through.
