Anyone have expierience with NAPA paint's? They say they can mix up 1993 Super White in a spray bomb. How close can they get? Quality paint?

Well Napa uses 2 different paints. They have a crossfire brand which is the low end and they have tech base or something like that which is their high end. They are just rebadged Sherwin Williams paints. SW makes the paint for them and have the exact same line (only different names).

The Crossfire is generally an overall type paint meaning that it is not designed as a match type of paint. It will probably be close but not exact. Of course no paint will be exact unless they use a paint matching system. This is a little gun type of thing that they use to take samples of the existing paint on the car to match it up.

I have used the crossfire paint from napa and it sprays very well...looks good too. I am not sure how well it holds up to UV though. THat is the biggest difference from a lines low and high end...that and all the low end stuff is a over all type of paint and not a match paint.

Good luck.

What is a spray bomb?

Spray paint. Canadian Tire has a whole line of colour match paint in spray cans, unfortunately, Nissan super white is NA. The Stealership can get paint sticks only, no good for redoing a fender!

I wouldnt recomend spray paint on a fender.

But if you want to then you can use paintscratch.com.

Or the Napa is fine too like I said. It will not be a perfect match but will probably be close. White is one of the worst colors to match anyway.

I'm not doing the whole fender, just spot's that I had to do some rust repair to. They're not large area's, just to big for a paint stick! primer still look's better than rust though!
