Just worndering if it is possible to add a fan on tranny cooler. When I rebuilt my tranny a year ago, I put a tranny cooler. However, I feel that the tranny cooler gets very hot after driving a while. I am thinking of puting a fan to cool off. Just want to get other's advise as well. Thanks.

the tranny needs to operate at a certain temperature range. it CAN be too cool to operate properly- and that will cause just as much, if not MORE damage than overheating the tranny.. Putting a fan on it probably will just make it run too cool- especially in NYC where it doesn't get that hot in the first place. you will probably want to bypass or cover up the cooler in the winter so the fluid can get to proper operating temp.
