Nobody answered you but thats cause its been typed about so many times... there are unlimited choices so the decision is yours only. The best thing to do is to research all of them and then make your choice. after that you can come back here and try to get a group deal going on your pick, maybe. For me its either Greddy SP catback or custom from a shop in my area. holla

Be like me, get a Civic cat-back exhaust system, they're real cheap, not that difficult at all to fab. up to the Max and they sound great!

They quit making the SP but I heard a rumor that they are making an SP2 that will be full stainless. I havent heard anything more about it sine I read it a while back.

Are you replacing it just for more power or is your muffler bad? From what I've read I don't think replacing it is worth the money. Does anyone know what gains can be had from just a cat-back?

I guess 5-8 HP isn't too bad, is that supposed to be at the wheels or at the flywheel?

92pearlgle, I'm still curious as to why you want to replace the exhaust. If it's not bad and you are just looking for performance then I'd recommend just getting a WSP y-pipe because it's cheaper than a cat-back and you'll get better gains. If you still are looking for the right muffler, read through some of the last few pages of threads because alot of members had posted info a little while back on the exhausts they recommended.

Do the Y-pipe you might get about 15 at the wheels.

Quick question...

What is the difference between Greddy's SP and SP2? Is one more restictive than the other? If anyone has the SP2 on another car than the max what did you think? I know a few places I could still pick up the SP from. My other option is to just wait for the SP2 and hope it gets made. I know SP only has a stainless muffler and the SP2 is supposed to be all stainless.

Hopefully this isn't too OT

Do what i'm doing; I have the WSP Y-pipe, B-pipe, and a QTP electric cutout. I like having wide open exaust when I race, and then being quiet and "stealth" when i come to a stop.
