Fixing TurnSignal,Low/High Beam Light Switch
Did somebody try to repair Low/High Beam, turn signal switch on their Max? I tried and was not quite successful.
After some time during driving at night one of my low beam signals was turning off by itself. When that happened side lights (that come up with turn signals) were not in operation as well. Low beam light may or may not came up when I turned the switch on/off several times. It was typical intermitent problem, not happening every time. So, I took this switch apart and bended some very fragule contacts. It seemed to work for some time, but then problem came back.
Do you have any suggestions on this issue (besides the fact of spending ~$80 at a dealer)?
Thanks for an answer.

Similar thing occured with my '94 recently, except that it was the high beam. Started out as an intermittent problem, then got to a point that the high beam would not work at all. Apparently the headlight switch shorted, causing a relay to burn out. Only solution was to replace the switch and the relay...
