Detonation sensor

How Much Does It Cost To Get A Detonation Sensor Fixed/repaired? I Decoded My Ecu And That Is The Problem... I Just Want An Estimate On How Much That Will Cost. 89 Maxima

it's roughly 6-7 hrs on AllData.

I know the knock sensor for a Mercury Villager cost ~400 bucks


take 6-7 hrs * given labor rate... add tax. there you go.

The VG KS should be easy as pie its on the outside of the block

Yeah, I just did my VE and it took like 8 hours, but from what I understand the VG is on the outside of the block and should not take near as much time. It sounds like it is time to invest in a Haynes manual or a Chilton's manual
