Yet Another Bose Problem

My wifes 94 has developed yet another problem with the Bose. When I push the power button to turn it on, it lights up for a couple seconds then turns off. I have rewired the power circuit to the relay as explained in the FAQ section. Did this a couple of years ago and it has worked perfectly until recently. I checked this wiring and the contacts are still good.

Is this a relay gone bad or another problem? I'm not sure at this point where to start.

Thanks for your comments, help, suggestions.

I'm sure that bose units only last 10 years. I stripped mine... HU, speakers, wires, and amps.
