Hey, my auto climate control display lights dimmly and sometimes comes on when you tap it....just like the digital clock...any way to fix it? links to write ups?

As well, my transmission (auto) shifts harsh/roughly from first to second after that it's normal....tried different trans settings all the same..any ideas?
