Would anyone be interested in a built VG?

with the extra quart in there, it is like insurance, or money in the bank. i'd consider it were i to build up the VG. i am wondering if this would effect clearance issues under there? doesn't the y-pipe cross over it? i cannot remember.
by the way, i have been following for weeks your whole developing story of your 5-lug swap with the 3rd gen hardware. i think rogertight is doing it, too? is this correct? and he has caliper clearance issues? anyway, your wheels (and car) look really great. very worthwhile, my man.
now back to our regularly scheduled thread topic...

As far as oil pan extenders, they are nothing new. Im sure they make one for the Z31, but I doubt there is any demand for one for the maxima. I agree matt 100%, I dont have my car lowered and I have managed to smash my stock oil pan a couple of times, so an extended one would be toast.
I road race and auto X constantly, and haven't had a problem with oil starvation. nor have I had a problem with bottoming out my shocks once you get good springs and shocks on the car.

You DO know the color of the oil is no indication of condition correct? Because I know you have looked at every thread in the fluids/lubricants section. And if you have a great concern about your engine, you should send a sample out for evaluation.
But with VGs getting long in the tooth
, your engine could be experiencing alot of blowby from bad compression or other problems(EGR, PCV,O2,corroded sensors/connectors etc.....)

i was never seriously considering the oil pan extender, though. that seems like an overkill measure.
